CFOs on the Move: Week Ending May 22

Deb Thomas, senior vice president and head of corporate finance at Hasbro Inc., has been promoted to CFO. She has been at the company since 1998; before that she worked at KPMG Peat Marwick.

Executive recruiter Korn/Ferry International announced the appointment of Michael DiGregorio as executive vice president and CFO, effective June 1. He replaces Stephen Giusto, who will stay on in an advisory capacity. DiGregorio is currently CFO at St. John Knits International Inc., a manufacturer of women’s clothing.

Jonathan Halkyard, senior vice president, CFO, and treasurer of Harrah’sEntertainment, will add the title of principal accounting officer to his role. This follows the resignation of senior vice president, controller, and chief accounting officer Anthony McDuffie. Halkyard will remain in his new position until a new chief accounting officer is found.

Susan Carter is leaving her post as CFO and executive vice president of heating and air-conditioning company Lennox International. Vice president, controller, and chief accounting officer Roy Rumbough Jr. takes over as interim finance leader while the company conducts an external search for Carter’s permanent replacement.

Nancy Broadbent is the new senior vice president and CFO of medical-device developer and marketer Orthovita Inc. She is a former head of finance at dermatology company CollaGenex Pharmaceuticals Inc.

Network Solutions has named Miles Reidy executive vice president and CFO. He comes to the company from Sears Holdings Corp., where he also ran the finance operation.

In a cost-cutting move, eye-care-services company TLC Vision has terminated three executive officers, including CFO Steven Rasche. William McManus, a managing director of financial-advisory firm Conway, Del Genio, Gries & Co., takes over as interim CFO.

Andrew Cuthill is the new CFO of Acorn Media Group. He comes to the job from Spectrum Water Coolers.

Cobalt International Energy LP has named Rodney Gray executive vice president and CFO, effective June 1. Most recently, he was finance chief at Colonial Pipeline in Atlanta.

Robert T. Michaels will become CFO of Optical Society of America in June. He is a former vice president of finance at the American Association for Justice.

Consultancy SRA International has named Rick Nadeau executive vice president and CFO, effective June 1. Previously, he was CFO at Sunrise Senior Living.
