• Eastman Kodak has hired Frank Sklarsky, 49, as chief financial officer to replace Robert Brust, who is retiring in February. Sklarsky ended his two-year stint as ConAgra Foods’ CFO on Tuesday. Sklarsky will report to work at Kodak on October 30 as executive vice president and assume the CFO title on November 13. Before joining ConAgra in 2004, Sklarsky held senior financial executive positions at DaimlerChrysler and Dell. While ConAgra searches for Sklarsky’s replacement, John Gehring, senior vice president and controller, will fill in as acting CFO, effective October 4. Gehring has worked at the company since 2002 and has also held the position of vice president of internal audit.
• Equifax has appointed Lee Adrean as chief financial officer, replacing Donald Heroman, who is retiring after four years on June 1, 2007. Most recently, Adrean served as executive vice president and CFO for NDCHealth. He has also held senior level positions at EarthLink, First Data, Providian, and Bain and Co.
• Appleton has appointed Thomas Ferree as vice president of finance and chief financial officer, effective October 9. Previously, Ferree served as Wells’ Dairy’s senior vice president of finance and CFO for the past three years. He also worked as corporate controller for Meredith Corp. and held executive management positions at Banc One.
• Airgas has appointed Robert McLaughlin as senior vice president and chief financial officer. He has served as the interim CFO since Roger Millay resigned on September 20, and he has worked at the gas distributor as vice president and controller since 2001. Previously, McLaughlin served as vice president of finance for Asbury Automotive Group and Unisource Worldwide.
• Green Plains Renewable Energy has appointed Brian Larson to chief financial officer. He has served as the CFO for Data Transmission Network Corp.; CFO, secretary, and treasurer of Solutionary; and division controller for Twin City Testing.
• AGA Medical has appointed Brigid Makes as chief financial officer. Most recently Brigid was an executive with Nektar Therapeutics, which she joined in 1999 as the CFO. She also served as CFO of Haemonetics Corp. and worked in controller and treasury functions at Lotus Development (now IBM).
• FacePrint Global Solutions has hired Canon Bryan as chief financial officer. Since 2000, Bryan has been the managing director of his private company, ACB Analytics. He is currently CFO of CYOP Systems International, and he has served as CFO for the International Pilots Group. FacePrint deals with facial-recognition technology.
• The Progressive Corp. has announced that Brian Domeck will be its new chief financial officer, effective March 1. Domeck currently serves as the demand manager overseeing all media buying and sponsorships for the Progressive Direct Group of Insurance Cos. He joined Progressive in 1987 as a controller.
• Tax reduction services company Burr Wolff has named Chad Greenway as its new chief financial officer. Greenway has been a financial executive for more than eight years.
• InforMedix Holdings has appointed Harry Stokes to senior vice president and chief financial officer. Most recently, Stokes served as CFO for Transnational Automotive Group, and previously as CFO and vice president of finance and administration for the Major Indoor Soccer League, managing director of HMS & Associates, and vice president of finance for Gund Investment Corp.
• Media company Oversee.net has hired Robert F. Chrone as chief financial officer. Previously, he was CFO and executive vice president of operations for FrontBridge Technologies, CFO of Atlas World Holdings, and corporate controller and chief accounting officer at Dual Drilling.
• Westec InterActive has hired James Ide as executive vice president and chief financial officer. Ide previously served as CFO of several companies including Cwill Telecommunications (now Navini Networks), Next Level Communications, and Pliant. Westec delivers business intelligence solutions.
• Canadian Pacific Railway has appointed Michael Lambert as executive vice president and chief financial officer. Previously, Lambert was executive vice president and co-president of Canadian Tire.
