- HisJob.com: Robert L. Gray was named CFO of Myjobs.com, an online career fair. According to the Chicago- based company, Gray previously held senior finance jobs at two unnamed middle-market public companies. Gray is the company’s first CFO.
- Keeper of the House: Anthony S. Cleberg is the new CFO of Champion Enterprises Inc., an Auburn Hills, Mich.-based housing manufacturer. Cleberg, former CFO of engineering firm Washington Group International, succeeds Joseph Stegmayer, who resigned last month.
- Help with the Mortgage: Andrew Kannenberg was named VP and CFO of Dexma Inc., a Minneapolis mortgage application service provider. Kannenberg joins Dexma from Wells Fargo Home Mortgage, where he was the western division sales manager. He is the company’s first CFO.
- Patriot Games: Lowell W. Giffhorn was promoted to EVP and CFO of San Diego-based Patriot Scientific Corp. Giffhorn was previously acting CFO and served on the microprocessor-maker’s board. He made $110,000 last year and exercised $937,000 in options.
- Watching his P’s and Q’s: John Belchers joined management service provider InteQ Corp. as CFO. The 20-year finance veteran was most recently CFO of Fairmarket Inc., which he helped take public before joining the Burlington, Mass., startup. He has also been a partner at KPMG and COO and CFO of Discovery Toys.
- Crossing that Bridge: Robert Krist is leaving his CFO post at Bridge Medical Inc. to become VP and CFO of Irvine, Calif.- based Datum Inc. He succeeds David Young, who recently became CFO of Adaptec Inc.
- A Madden-ing Pace: Equity Marketing Inc. named Larry Madden SVP and CFO. Madden joins the Los Angeles-based promotional-products maker to companies like Burger King from the music industry. He served as VP of finance at PolyGram, and was most recently CFO of online music company Atomic Pop.
- Peerless—and CFO-less: Peerless Manufacturing Co. announced the resignation of Thomas Reeve. Reeve, who the company said is pursuing other opportunities, will be replaced temporarily by former P.C. Service Source CFO Robert Boutin.
- What a Dahl: Robert Dahl, former CFO of Ascend Communications, was named to the board of directors at broadband- solutions provider MegaPath Networks Inc. Dahl is now a general partner at Riviera Ventures LLC, a private equity investing firm.
- Feeling Randy: Randy Acres was promoted to CFO of FVC.com, a Santa Clara, Calif., broadband-video-networking firm. He was previously the company’s VP and corporate controller.
- Jay-Walking: Nick Malden was named CFO of Ventana Medical Systems. He replaces Jay Meridew, who was VP and interim CFO. Meridew will assume a new, as-yet-unspecified role at the Tucson-based medical-lab-equipment maker. Malden joins Ventana from The Gillette Cos., where he was VP of finance at the company’s global business management group.
