- Keeping Us Guessing: Apparel manufacturer Guess? Inc. said CFO Brian Fleming resigned, effective immediately. The company is searching for his replacement. The news comes on the heels of yesterday’s announcement of its new president and COO, Carlos Alberini, former CFO of Footstar Inc. Fleming made $408,000 last year.
- J. Paul Quinn is closing his stint as CFO of Seattle-based The Closeout Co. He is joining Seattle-based Internet infrastructure company N2H2 Inc. as CFO. He succeeds John Duncan, the company’s CFO since 1997. Information on Duncan’s future plans wasn’t immediately available. Duncan made $245,000 last year as VP, CFO, and secretary. He also exercised $1.2 million in options.
- John H. Ramsey is the CFO of Oakland, Calif.-based E-business consultancy Intabia Inc. Not to be confused with JonBenet’s dad, Ramsey is a former independent consultant who managed his own management consulting firm for 15 years. He’s also been CFO of several companies, including Sunsweet Growers Inc. and Union Commerce Bank in Cleveland.
