Michael Ferron is tuning out of California Amplifier Inc.. The Camarillo, Calif.-based firm, which makes microwave amplification and conversion components that improve reception in satellite TV, said Ferron is resigning from his posts of VP of finance, CFO, and corporate secretary. The company said it has launched a search for his replacement.
Heinz Bizenberger is in the driver’s seat as the new CFO of Krupp Hoesch Automotive of America. Bizenberger joins the Troy, Mich.-based supplier of automotive powertrain components from parent company ThyssenKrupp Automotive AG, the Dusseldorf, Germany- based auto-parts giant, where he was an SVP. Krupp Hoesch also announced the appointment of Craig Shetler as president.
Yowza! San Jose, Calif.-based Gadzoox Networks Inc. named David Eichler to the top finance spot. Before joining the maker of high-speed storage area network switches, Eichler was CFO of Alliance Semiconductor Corp.
Internet phone-service provider WorldQuest Networks Inc. called in Victor Grijalva to the CFO post. Grijalva joins the Dallas-based firm from Trinity E-Venutures Inc., an E-commerce subsidiary Trinity Industries Inc., where he was VP and CFO.
Going Dutch: Amsterdam, Netherlands-based KPNQwest named Jeffrey Von Deylen EVP and CFO. The Pan-European data communications firm said Von Deylen replaces Willem Ackermans, who resigned to pursue other interests. He was previously VP and corporate controller of Qwest Communications International Inc.. KPNQwest is a joint venture of Qwest and Dutch incumbent KPN Telecom NV.
