Erin Brewer | Lyft

Lyft hired Erin Brewer as the ride-sharing company’s new finance chief, effective July 10. Most recently, Brewer was managing director of enterprise finance at Charles Schwab. She was previously head of strategy and finance at Atlassian where and spent 13 years at McKesson, in various leadership, including as executive vice president and chief accounting officer, and a board member for McKesson Ventures. Brewer replaces Elaine Paul, who has been CFO since January 2022. Paul will leave Lyft after working as an adviser through November 30, 2023.

Real estate marketplace Zillow promoted Jeremy Hofmann to CFO. Hofmann joined the company in 2017 and most recently was senior vice president of corporate development and strategy. Before joining Zillow, Hofmann spent nearly 10 years in financial services, mostly at Goldman Sachs, where he was a vice president in investment banking. He succeeds Allen Parker, who will transition to an advisory role.

Blake Grayson | DocuSign

Electronic agreement management platform DocuSign hired Blake Grayson as CFO. Since 2019, Grayson has been CFO of media buying platform The Trade Desk. Before that, he held various finance leadership roles at Amazon for over a decade. Grayson succeeds Cynthia Gaylor, who is stepping down.

Rahul Ghai | GE

Rahul Ghai will take over as chief financial officer of GE on September 1, 2023. Ghai will assume this role in addition to his current responsibilities as CFO of GE Aerospace, which he has held since August 2022. Ghai joined GE Aerospace from elevator and escalator manufacturer Otis Worldwide, where he was CFO. Before that, Ghai was CFO of aerospace and defense technology company Harris, and earlier in his career, he worked in executive-level finance roles at Aetna and United Technologies. Ghai succeeds Carolina Dybeck Happe, who will continue as a senior vice president of GE to help with the transition. Dybeck Happe joined GE as CFO from Maersk in early 2020.

Sumita Pandit | Radian Group

Radian Group appointed Sumita Pandit as the mortgage insurance company’s new chief financial officer. Pandit joined the company in March 2023 as the company’s first chief growth officer from financial technology company dLocal, where she was chief operating officer. Earlier, Pandit worked at J.P. Morgan in several managing director roles, including as global head of fintech investment banking. She replaces J. Franklin Hall, who stepped down in December 2022.

FICO promoted Steve Weber to CFO. Weber joined the data analytics company in 2003 and was named interim chief financial officer in January 2023, succeeding Michael McLaughlin. Before taking on the interim CFO role, he was the company’s vice president – treasurer, tax, and investor relations. 

Thomas Szlosek | AutoNation

Thomas Szlosek was named finance chief of AutoNation. Szlosek joins the automotive retailer from medical product maker Avantor, where he has been CFO since 2018. Before that, he worked at Honeywell for 14 years, most recently as chief financial officer. Current CFO Joe Lower will transition to a newly created role where he will oversee business transformation initiatives.

Solar technology and energy services company SunPower appointed Elizabeth Eby as its new chief financial officer. Eby most recently was CFO of NeoPhotonics, a high-speed digital optics provider. Before that, she grew her career at Intel, where she held several senior roles during her more than 25-year tenure, including vice president of finance and group CFO for the Internet of Things business. 

Jennifer Cabalquinto | Empire

Jennifer Cabalquinto is the new finance chief of Empire, an independent record label, distributor, and publisher. Most recently, she was CFO of video game publisher 2K Games. She has previously held CFO positions at Universal Studios Hollywood, Telemundo, and the Golden State Warriors. She started her career as a senior auditor at Ernst & Young.

Mark Skonieczny

Mark Skonieczny | REV Group

REV Group interim CEO and chief financial officer Mark Skonieczny was named as the company’s permanent chief executive and president. Skonieczny joined the specialty vehicle manufacturer in June 2020 as senior vice president and CFO. Before joining the company, he held positions as vice president and corporate controller of Adient and spent 17 years at Johnson Controls in a variety of financial roles, including vice president of corporate development and vice president of finance. The company has started a search for a new CFO.
