Eric Levin | Warner Music Group

Warner Music Group CFO Eric Levin will retire by the end of 2023. Levin joined the entertainment and record label conglomerate in 2014 and has held several senior executive roles in the U.S. and Greater China. He also helped lead the company through its IPO in 2020. Levin previously held the top finance spot at Ecolab, South China Morning Post Group, and HBO.

Kate Ferry | Burberry

Kate Ferry will join British luxury brand Burberry as its new CFO in September. Ferry currently works at supercar maker McLaren Group, where she has been finance chief for the last two years. Before that, she was group chief financial officer of TalkTalk Telecom Group. She succeeds Julie Brown, currently Burberry chief operating officer and CFO, who will leave the company in April to become CFO of drugmaker GSK. Ian Brimicombe, currently Burberry’s senior vice president of specialist finance and projects, has been appointed interim chief financial officer until Ferry joins the company.

Saloni Varma | Thorne HealthTech

Saloni Varma was appointed chief financial officer of Thorne HealthTech. Varma joins the science-driven wellness company from the food technology company MotifFoodWorks, where she was CFO. She was previously CFO of baby nutrition company ByHeart and has held various finance leadership roles at Chobani, Dove, and Talenti. She began her career in accounting at KPMG.

Josh Burke | Thrasio

Thrasio, a company that helps consolidate and scale companies that sell products mostly on Amazon’s marketplace, hired Josh Burke as its new finance chief. Burke most recently was CFO of consumer goods and food delivery company Gopuff. Before that, he was CFO of online outdoor clothing and gear retailer Backcountry.com. He began his management career at PwC and spent several years in global financial roles at sportswear brand Under Armour. Burke replaces Brian Cooper, who was named CFO in 2021. 

Kenneth Bull | Five Below

Kenneth Bull, chief financial officer and treasurer of retailer Five Below, was promoted chief operating officer. Bull will continue in his current position until a new CFO is appointed. Bull, who has been the retailer’s CFO and treasurer since 2012, joined the company as senior vice president of finance in 2005. He previously held various senior finance roles at several other retail organizations including Urban Outfitters.

Nick Negro | Scientific Games

Scientific Games, a company that provides lottery games and wagering systems, appointed Nick Negro as finance chief. For the last five years, Negro has worked at Honeywell in several finance roles, including CFO of its building solutions divisions. He has also held CFO positions at Dover Corporation and Navistar. Negro succeeds James Bunitsky, who is retiring after over 40 years at the company.

Christian Lee | Mint House

Residential hospitality startup Mint House recruited Christian Lee, CFO of transportation solutions provider Transfix, to be its new chief executive officer. Lee joined Transfix as finance chief in 2021 from office share company WeWork, where he held managing director and CFO roles during his five-year tenure. He previously led corporate development at Time Warner Cable, where he played a key role in its spin-off into a public company and the eventual merger with Charter.

Marsha Kublall | O’Reilly

Marsha Kublall was named CFO of learning platform O’Reilly. Kublall was previously vice president of strategic finance and analytics for gym chain Blink Fitness. Before that, she was vice president of corporate strategic planning and investor relations at retailer Cole Haan. Her additional finance-related roles included investment banking at JPMorgan and corporate strategy at J.Crew.
