Morningstar has named Stéphane Biehler finance chief. He has been chief accounting officer and corporate controller at NYSE Euronext since 2007.
Christopher Halmy has been promoted to the top finance spot at Ally Financial, effective November 8. Halmy, who is corporate treasurer, will replace James Mackey, who is leaving the company.
Michael Geltzeiler, CFO of NYSE Euronext, has been appointed to head finance at ADT. He is a former CFO of Reader’s Digest Association, and also was president for school and educational services there.
IT-products distributor Intcomex has selected Humberto Lopez to lead the finance function. Previously, he was CFO and chief operating officer of Trade Street Residential and chief operating, financial and compliance officer of Trade Street Capital.
Michael Bond has been promoted to the top finance spot at Pulse Electronics, effective November 6. He succeeds Drew Moyer, who resigned. Bond is currently treasurer of the company.
Home-automation services firm Vivint has named Mark Davies finance chief. Most recently, he was president of global business services at Alcoa, where he also served as chief procurement officer.
Newfield Exploration said that CFO Terry Rathert will retire next year. The company’s board of directors plans to name Lawrence Massaro, currently vice president of corporate development, to replace him, effective November 11. Rathert will become a special adviser to the energy company through August 2014.
Jerry Turin, who heads finance at Oclaro, plans to resign effective November 8. He joined the optical modules, components and subsystems provider as corporate controller in 2005 and has been finance chief since 2008.
Pet health-care company Idexx Laboratories has named Brian McKeon to the top finance spot, effective January 1, 2014. Most recently, he led the finance function at Iron Mountain.
