Kathryn Fagan is retiring as finance chief of Annaly Capital Management Inc. She will be succeeded by Glenn Votek, most recently chief administrative officer.
Marathon Oil Corp. has appointed John Sult to lead the finance function, effective September 3. He replaces Janet Clark, who is retiring October 1. Sult was CFO of El Paso Corp. from 2009 until the firm was acquired by Kinder Morgan Inc. last year.
Spirit Aerosystems Inc. has named Sanjay Kapoor to the top finance spot. He takes over from Phil Anderson, who has been appointed senior vice president of defense and contracts. Kapoor joins the company from Raytheon, where he was vice president, integrated air and missile defense, integrated defense systems.
Michael Jasperson has been selected to head finance at Mansfield Energy Corp. He replaces John Byrd, who will become chief operating officer. Previously, Jasperson was global general manager of finance at Royal Dutch Shell.
Networking and software company BTI Systems Inc. has appointed Ken Taylor to lead the finance function. He is a former CFO of March Networks Corp.
Accretive Health Inc. has named Sean Orr CFO and treasurer. He takes over from John Staton, who will become senior vice president, provider business solutions. Among other roles, Orr has been CFO of Maxum Petroleum, president and CFO of Dale and Thomas Popcorn, and controller at PepsiCo, as well as CFO of its Frito-Lay division.
IT-management software provider SolarWinds Inc. has promoted Jason Ream, vice president of growth strategy, to CFO and executive vice president, finance. As CFO, he succeeds Michael Berry, who is leaving the company.
Michael Robinson plans to retire from Life Time Fitness Inc. early next year. He has headed finance since 2002.
Residential service network The ServiceMaster Co. has named Alan Haughie as its next finance chief, effective September 16. Most recently, he worked at Federal-Mogul, where his positions included controller and chief accounting officer.
Ronald Smith has resigned from the top finance spot at yarn manufacturer Unifi Inc. Chief accounting officer James Otterberg will become interim CFO until a permanent replacement for Smith is found.
