Tracey Travis announced her resignation from Ralph Lauren Corp. earlier this week to pursue other interests. Those interests became apparent when Estee Lauder Cos. named Travis as its new financial chief. She replaces retiring finance head Richard Kunes.

Glassware manufacturer Libbey Inc. has announced it will welcome Sherry Buck to the top finance function, effective August 1. Buck was previously CFO at Whirlpool Corp. She replaces Richard Reynolds, who has been named Libbey’s executive vice president, strategy program management.

has enlisted CFO Michael Larsen as interim chief executive after CEO Barry Pennypacker left the company. Larsen will serve in both roles for the time being.

Lennox International

Inc. has appointed Joseph Reitmeier as its new CFO. Former CFO Robert Hau resigned to pursue another opportunity. The change was effective July 17, though Hau will remain with the company through July 31.

LeapFrog Enterprises

Inc. has appointed former Toys “R” Us Inc. executive Ray Arthur as CFO. In his previous role, Arthur also served as CFO of and as corporate controller.

David Kaminsky

was named CFO of Vidyo as of July 16. Kaminsky is a long-time veteran in finance, and has had many stints as CFO, most recently at NTT Data Inc. He will be the growing company’s first finance chief.

Pamela Strayer

is the new finance chief at Plantronics Inc. She succeeds Barbara Scherer, who announced her intention to retire in March 2012. Strayer’s last role was vice president of finance and principal accounting officer at Autodesk Inc., a 3D design software firm for manufacturing, building, and construction.

Timothy Gallagher

has stepped down as CFO at Excalibur Resources Ltd. to move into the position of CEO, and will remain chairman of the board. He will be replaced by Donna McLean, who has been on the accounting and reporting team with the company since 2010.

Business-software maker Progress Software Corp. has appointed Melissa Cruz as CFO. Cruz succeeds Charles Wagner Jr., who left the company in March. Before joining Progress, Cruz was CFO at Picis, a provider of health-care software products.

Global insurance brokerage Hub International Ltd. has announced that effective August 15, Joseph Hyde will become CFO. Hyde comes from Global Payments Inc., where he served as the president of international operations.
