Contracting-services firm Quanta Services Inc. has promoted Derrick Jensen to lead the finance function, effective next month. He takes over from James Haddox, who will become executive vice president. Jensen, who is currently senior vice president-finance and administration and chief accounting officer, will remain principal accounting officer for the company.

Richard Slansky has been named to the top finance spot at GenMark Diagnostics Inc., effective April 23. He replaces Paul Ross, who is leaving the company. Most recently, Slansky was CFO of Digirad Corp.

Scott Purviance, who has been finance chief at insurance company AmWINS Group since 2001, has been named chief operating officer. He will remain CFO of the firm.

Quicksilver Resources Inc. has promoted controller and chief accounting officer John Regan to head finance. He takes over from Philip Cook, who will resign after the independent oil-and-gas company files its 10-K later this month.

Neal Murphy has been elected CFO, secretary, treasurer, and vice president-finance of Met-Pro Corp. He replaces Gary Morgan, who has resigned. Previously, Murphy was CFO of Northern Tier Energy.

Digital-media company RealNetworks Inc. has promoted Tim Wan to the posts of CFO and treasurer, effective April 18. He succeeds Michael Eggers, who had said earlier this year that he would resign. Wan had been vice president of finance.

Hercules Technology Growth Capital Inc. has named Jessica Baron to lead the finance function. Baron, who joined the firm in 2006, has been interim CFO since last June.

Pankaj Gupta has been promoted to CFO and executive vice president, finance & operations, at Shiseido Americas Corp., the U.S. subsidiary of cosmetics maker Shiseido Co. Most recently, Gupta was senior vice president of finance and operations at NARS Cosmetics, a division of Shiseido Americas Corp.

Technology firm Intellicheck Mobilisa Inc. has named Bill White to the top finance spot. He is a co-founder of FocusMicro Inc., and was CFO, treasurer, and secretary of the company for the past 11 years.
