Gaming-machine designer and manufacturer International Game Technology has appointed John Vandemore CFO and treasurer. He succeeds Pat Cavanaugh, who is leaving the company. Most recently, Vandemore headed finance at Walt Disney Imagineering.
Mark Harris will be the new CFO and treasurer at Apollo Investment Corp., effective April 2. He replaces Gene Donnelly, who will remain interim CFO and treasurer until that time. Harris formerly was head of the asset management group at Avenue Capital Group; before that, he was corporate financial controller at Hutchison Telecommunications International.
Integra Telecom Inc. has appointed Jesse Selnick to the top finance spot. Previously, he was a managing director of Blackstone.
Medical-supply distributor Owens & Minor Inc. has named CFO James Bierman chief operating officer. Controller and chief accounting officer D. Andrew Edwards will take over as interim CFO until a permanent successor for Bierman is found.
Ephraim Kwok, finance chief of Alpha and Omega Semiconductor Ltd., has resigned for health reasons. Kwok, who had been CFO since he started at the company in 2005, is being replaced effective March 1 by Mary Dotz, a former CFO of Adaptec.
Coverity Inc. has named John Calonico CFO and secretary. Most recently, he headed finance at Aster Data Systems.
Bruce Walker has been appointed to lead the finance function at Nippon Life Benefits. Previously, he was chief accountant of the group insurance division of Guardian Life Insurance Co., and also held the top finance spot at Swiss Re Life and Health Canada.
