Carl Casale has resigned as head of finance at Monsanto Co., effective December 31, in order to become president and CEO of CHS Inc. Casale has been at Monsanto since 1984 and has been CFO since September 2009. The company plans to name his replacement by the end of the year.
Fair Isaac Corp. (FICO) has promoted Michael Pung to the top finance spot. He takes over from Thomas Bradley, who is retiring. Pung joined the analytics and decision-management technology provider in 2004 and was head of investor relations and chief accounting officer.
Oil-and-gas production and exploration firm Apache Corp. has promoted Thomas Chambers, its vice president of planning and investor relations, to be CFO. Chambers started at the company in 1995 as director of corporate planning.
ECOtality Inc. has named Ravi Brar to lead the finance function. He succeeds Barry Baer, who will stay on as a consultant and director during the transition period. Brar comes to the clean electric transportation and storage technology firm from Exigen Services, where he also served as CFO.
James Harper has been named finance chief at online marketing technology provider WebVisible Inc. Formerly, he headed finance at Move Networks Inc.
