David Johnson will resign as CFO of Fannie Mae by the end of the year. Deputy CFO David Hisey will take over his responsibilities until a permanent replacement is found.
Paul Saleh is the new finance chief at Gannett Co., taking over from Gracia Martore, who was promoted to the posts of president and chief operating officer at the news company earlier this year. Most recently, Saleh was managing partner of Menza Partners LLC; before that, he was CFO of Sprint Nextel Corp.
The McGraw-Hill Cos. has named Jack Callahan to lead the finance function, effective next month. He succeeds Robert Bahash, who will become president of McGraw-Hill Education. Callahan comes to the publisher from Dean Foods Co., where he also served as CFO.
Payment-processing and electronic-commerce company First Data Corp. has appointed Ray Winborne to the top finance spot. Winborne, who joined the company as senior vice president, finance, and controller last year, has been acting CFO since May.
Charles Wagner is the new executive vice president, finance and administration, and CFO of Progress Software Corp. He takes over from Norman Robertson, who announced in April that he planned to retire. Most recently, Wagner was CFO of Millipore Corp.
Blue Nile Inc. has announced that Marc Stolzman has resigned as finance chief, effective November 24. Vijay Talwar, general manager of the international division of the online jewelry retailer, will add to his responsibilities as interim CFO until a permanent replacement for Stolzman is found.
James Kelly has been appointed CFO, treasurer, and secretary of biopharmaceutical firm Vanda Pharmaceuticals Inc., effective December 13. Previously, he was controller of MedImmune LLC.
Digi International Inc. has named Steven Snyder to head finance. He is a former CFO of Gearworks Inc.
Dirk Van Doren has resigned from the top finance spot at SandRidge Energy Inc., but plans to stay in his post until the end of the year. A search is under way for his successor.
Agree Realty Corp. has promoted Alan Maximiuk to the posts of CFO and secretary. Maximiuk, who has been vice president since July, replaces Kenneth Howe, who is retiring.
