Kami Ragsdale is the new finance chief at software developer for media company INVISION Inc. Most recently, she was senior vice president of financial planning and analysis at AOL Inc. New York.

The Pantry Inc. has named Mark Bierley to the top finance spot, effective September 27. He succeeds Frank Paci, who is resigning but will remain as a consultant until the end of the year. Bierley comes to the convenience-store chain from Borders Group Inc., where he was CFO and chief operating officer.

Mary Hentges has been appointed CFO of CBS Interactive. She takes over from Zander Lurie, who is now senior vice president, strategic development, for parent company CBS Corp. Formerly, Hentges was vice president of finance and CFO of PayPal.

Steel manufacturer Evraz Inc. NA has named Glenda Minor chief of finance. Previously, she was vice president, finance, and controller of Visteon Corp.

CODA Holdings has appointed Mark Jamieson to lead the finance function at the technology firm. He is a former CFO of HD Supply, Ryder Systems, and General Electric business unit GE Industrial Systems.

Title-insurance provider First American Financial Corp. has promoted Max Valdes to head finance. Valdes, who has been at the company in 1988, had been chief accounting officer.

Robert Woltil has been named CFO, corporate secretary, and vice president, finance, at electrical safety-products manufacturer Technology Research Corp. Woltil has been interim CFO since July; before that, he was a partner at executive-services company SFN Professional Services LLC (Tatum).

Oncothyreon Inc. has named Julie Eastland to lead the finance function, effective September 7. She joins the biotechnology company from VLST Corp., where she was CFO and vice president of finance and operations.

Railroad freight-car manufacturer FreightCar America Inc. has named Joseph McNeely to the top finance spot, effective September 13. McNeeley, who replaces Christopher Nagel, formerly was vice president of Mitsui Rail Capital LLC.

David Radloff has been promoted to CFO at Hutchinson Technology Inc., succeeding Steve Polacek, who has resigned. Previously, Radloff, who joined the firm in 1986, was corporate controller.
