As part of an organizational change, Nicholas Fanandakis, group vice president-applied biosciences at DuPont, has been named to head finance, effective November 1. Fanandakis, a 30-year DuPont veteran, replaces Jeffrey Keefer, who will transition to a new role within the company.
Kevin Cash is the new CFO at nationwide law firm Baker Hostetler. He comes to the firm from Ernst & Young, where he was managing partner in the Northeast Ohio Advisory Services practice.
Matthew Assiff has resigned as CFO of Copano Energy LLC, but will stay through September 3 to aid in the transition. Carl Luna, recently elected senior vice president, finance and corporate development, will serve as interim CFO until a permanent replacement for Assiff is found.
Hotel e-commerce company TravelCLICK Inc. has appointed Helen Wallace to the top finance spot. Previously, she was CFO and corporate treasurer of American Skiing Co.
Robert Chamberlain will lead the finance function at video-game company PopCap Games Inc. He takes over from Karla Horwitz, who has served as interim CFO for the past 17 months. Chamberlain is a former CFO of Watchguard Technologies Inc.
Casella Waste Systems Inc. CFO and treasurer John Quinn has resigned from the company, effective September 25. Quinn will become executive vice president and CFO of LKQ Corp.
Mark Weber has been promoted to CFO of semitrailer manufacturer Wabash National Corp., effective August 31. Weber, currently corporate controller, replaces Robert Smith, who is resigning from the company.
Biodefense firm PharmAthene Inc. has named Charles Reinhart III as its new CFO. He takes over from Christopher Camut, who has been appointed vice president, government contracting and special projects, a newly created post. Reinhart comes to the company from Millennium Pharmaceuticals Inc., where he was senior vice president finance and corporate strategy.
