  • Are You Gonna Go My Way: London-based airline British Airways Plc announced that John Rishton will replace Derek Stevens as CFO, effective September 1. Stevens, who joined the airline as CFO in 1989, is retiring. Until then, Rishton will act as CFO designate.
  • Life Is Beautiful: Elizabeth Arden Inc., a Miami-based maker of beauty products, named Stephen Smith EVP and CFO. Smith was a former partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. He succeeds William Mueller. The company did not indicate reasons for Mueller’s departure.
  • What a Deal: ShopKo Stores Inc., a Green Bay, Wis.-based discount retailer, named R. John Pindred as VP and treasurer. Pindred had been VP and treasurer of Service Merchandise Co. Inc., a Nashville-based discount retailer. Pindred will report to SVP and CFO Brian Bender.
