Harvey Entertainment loses a friend.

  • The Friendly CFO: Los Angeles-based Harvey Entertainment Co., which licenses characters for use in movies, TV shows and merchandise, announced that its chief financial officer, Glenn Weisberg resigned and will continue to work with the company on a part-time basis as general counsel. Harvey Classic character brands include Casper the Friendly Ghost and Richie Rich.
  • Key to the Trojan Horse: Troy Financial Corporation announced today the appointment of David J. DeLuca to the CFO and SVP position. Mr. DeLuca came to the Troy, N.Y.-based financial services company in November 2000 as part of the acquisition of Catskill Financial Corporation. Prior to that position, DeLuca worked for KeyCorp as SVP in charge of corporate planning and forecasting.
