  • Now You’re Talking: Robert G. McFarlane was named executive VP and CFO of Canadian telecommunications firm Telus Corp. McFarlane was previously executive VP, CFO, and secretary treasurer of Clearnet Communications Inc. before it was acquired by Telus.
  • Dan Crow is having a lot of fun at home entertainment retailer Hastings Entertainment Inc. He was promoted from VP of finance to VP and CFO of the Amarillo, Tex.- based company.
  • Here’s a quick plug for Larry Quartaro, the new acting CFO of Internet promotions company Inc.. The former controller of the New York-based firm takes on the CFO duties upon the resignation of Thomas Brophy.
  • John Kopchik is showing his good side as the new VP and CFO of TechTV, the on-air and online technology channel. He joins the San Francisco-based firm, formerly the ZDTV unit of technology media company ZD Inc., from AT&T Corp., where he was president of the western division of AT&T Broadband.
