Eastman Kodak has selected John McMullen to lead the finance function, effective June 15. He succeeds Rebecca Roof, who has been interim CFO since September 2012. McMullen’s former posts include senior vice president of finance and corporate treasurer at Hewlett-Packard, CFO of HP’s imaging and printing group and director of investor relations at Compaq Computer.
Insurance provider Assurant has promoted Christopher Pagano to finance chief, effective Aug. 15. Pagano, now chief investment officer and treasurer, will replace Michael Peninger, who is retiring.
Frontier Airlines has named James Dempsey to head finance. He comes to the company from Ryanair, where he was treasurer.
Paul DeSantis has been appointed to the top finance spot at Omnova Solutions, taking over from the retiring Michael Hicks. DeSantis joins the firm from Bob Evans Farms, where he was CFO and treasurer.
Manufacturer Olin has promoted Todd Slater to finance chief. Slater, who had been controller and vice president of finance, replaces John Fischer, who was promoted to president and chief operating officer.
Jeff Wood has resigned as head of finance at Eagle Rock Energy Partners, effective May 30. Robert Haines, upstream controller, will become interim CFO.
CFO Kenneth Leddon is leaving Novatel Wireless, effective next week. A search is under way for his successor.
Koppers Holdings has promoted finance chief Leroy Ball to the newly created post of chief operating officer. He will also remain in the top finance spot at the carbon compounds and treated wood products producer until his replacement is named.
Software-development firm Code42 has chosen Jason Bristow to lead the finance function. Most recently, he was treasurer at Amazon.com.
Interline Brands, which markets and distributes maintenance, repair and operations products, has appointed Fred Pensotti to head finance. He succeeds John Bakewell, who has resigned. Previously, Pensotti was corporate controller and senior vice president of finance at Sabre.
