Stephen Hare has been named to the top finance spot at Office Depot. He succeeds co-CFO Mike Newman, who has retired, and interim co-CFO Deb O’Connor, who has returned to her post as co–chief accounting officer and senior vice president, finance. Most recently, Hare headed finance at The Wendy’s Co.
The Hertz Corp. has named Thomas Kennedy as its next finance chief, replacing interim CFO David Rosenberg. Kennedy has been CFO at Hilton Worldwide since 2008.
Beauty firm Coty has selected Patrice de Talhouët to lead the finance function, effective early next year. He’ll take over for Sergio Pedreiro, who will stay on until March to aid in the transition. Formerly, de Talhouët was corporate finance officer Americas at Mars.
Finance chief Timothy Delmore plans to retire from all-terrain-vehicle designer and manufacturer Arctic Cat in May. A search is under way for his successor.
Covanta Holding has promoted Bradford Helgeson to the top finance spot, replacing Sanjiv Khattri. Helgeson had been treasurer at the renewable energy and sustainable waste management firm.
Ted Hull has been named to lead the finance function at Fusion-io. Most recently, he was vice president of finance at Cisco Systems.
Mettler-Toledo International has promoted Shawn Vadala to head finance. Formerly, he was group controller at the precision-instrument provider.
Yogurt maker Chobani has appointed Dipak Golechha to the top finance spot, succeeding James McConeghy. Previously, Golechha held several posts at Procter & Gamble, including CFO of its global snacks division.
Berry Plastics Group said that finance chief Jim Kratochvil will retire, effective Jan. 2. Mark Miles, now controller and treasurer, will take over as CFO.
James Saccaro has been named to head finance at Hill-Rom Holdings, effective Dec. 30. He comes to the medical technologies manufacturer and provider from Baxter International, where he most recently was vice president and global franchise head of specialty pharmaceuticals.
