|CFO Magazine Kicks Off Third Decade with Redesign
|September issue debuts redesign and expanded editorial coverage

New York, August 30, 2005—CFO—ranked by IntelliQuest* as the number one magazine for C-level coverage and composition among all business and IT magazines—is introducing a contemporary new look and expanded editorial content with its September issue. The redesign reflects the growing influence of today’s senior finance executives.
“This relaunch is all about our audience—making CFO an even more informative and essential resource to senior executives, while presenting it in an attractive, easy-to-read format,” said CFO’s publisher Kevin Quinlan. “Our investment in the magazine reflects the increasing importance and evolving needs of our readers. The redesign was created by David Armario Design. New style elements include a change in color palate, an increase in the number of pages, new features, and UV coating on the cover—all in a perfect-bound magazine.Expanded Editorial Coverage
The front of the book, renamed “Topline,” includes In Tech; Deals; Insight; By the Numbers, a page highlighting original research from CFO; and View from, perspectives on global finance from the editors of CFO Europe and CFO Asia. In On the Record, editors interview a prominent executive.
Practical financial management is the subject of “In Practice.” With its own table of contents for ease of use, this section includes Spotlight, columns on diverse topics, the career-oriented Your Move, and Grapevine, as well as occasional buyer’s guides and scorecards.
