Brian Newman | UPS
UPS chief financial officer Brian Newman will leave the company on June 1 to focus on his health. The company has started a search for his replacement. Newman joined UPS in 2019 from PepsiCo, where he worked for 26 years. Over his career at PepsiCo, he held several leadership positions, including executive vice president of global operations and global head of e-commerce.
Sherry House | Ford
Ford has announced its succession plan for its current CFO John Lawler, who is stepping into a new vice chair role in 2025. Sherry House, who most recently served as finance chief for Lucid Motors, will be joining the company in June as VP of finance, and will assume the CFO title in early 2025. Lawler has been CFO since late 2020, and will remain in the C-suite until succession is complete.
Nicholas Gangestad | Rockwell Automation
Rockwell Automation CFO Nicholas Gangestad is retiring. Gangestad will remain in his position until his successor is appointed. The search for his replacement is underway. Gangestad joined the company in 2021 as finance chief and earlier spent 13 years working at 3M, where he most recently held the same role.
Emily Reuter | Instacart
Emily Reuter, who is currently vice president of finance of Instacart, was promoted to chief financial officer of the grocery delivery platform. Reuter joined the company in January from Uber, where she worked for over nine years. During her time at Uber, she held several financial leadership roles, including most recently as head of corporate finance, and was earlier CFO of Uber’s multi-billion dollar Mobility (Rides) division. Reuter replaces Nick Giovanni, who is retiring. Giovanni joined the company as chief financial officer in January 2021 from Goldman Sachs, where he worked for 22 years.
Susan Healy | Crocs
Susan Healy was named finance chief of footwear company Crocs, effective June 3. Healy joins the company from car auction marketplace IAA, where she was chief financial officer. While at IAA she led its $7 billion merger with Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers. Before that, she was senior vice president of finance for retailer Ulta Beauty. Earlier in her career, she held several senior financial leadership roles in addition to a 12-year tenure at Goldman Sachs. Healy succeeds Anne Mehlman, who was recently appointed president of the Crocs Brand.
Till Streichert | Lufthansa
Till Streichert was appointed CFO of airline Lufthansa, effective September 15. Streichert is currently chief financial officer of Madrid-based Amadeus IT Group. He has held several global executive and financial management roles at various companies in his more-than-20-year career, including T-Mobile in the UK, the Boston Consulting Group, Vodafone Romania and Vodacom South Africa. Streichert replaces Remco Steenbergen, who is leaving the airline.
Taryn Miller | Wolverine Worldwide
Taryn Miller was named CFO of footwear and apparel maker Wolverine Worldwide, whose brands include Merrell, Saucony and Stride Rite. Miller was most recently vice president of corporate and commercial finance at agriculture company Corteva Agriscience. Before that, she was CFO of global business units, enterprise FP&A and investor relations at Kimberly-Clark. She held various financial leadership roles earlier in her career at Kraft Heinz, including CFO and vice president of finance at Kraft Heinz Canada. Miller succeeds Michael Stornant, who is retiring after nearly 30 years with the company.
Marc Becker | Ratio Therapeutics
Clinical-stage pharmaceutical company Ratio Therapeutics hired Marc Becker as CFO and chief operating officer. Most recently, Becker was CFO of growth companies at biotechnology company Flagship Pioneering. Earlier he was chief financial officer of Concert Pharmaceuticals, where he raised several financing rounds and led its sale to Sun Pharma in March 2023. He previously held CFO roles at CRISPR Therapeutics, where he led its IPO, and at rEVO Biologics.
Chris Zych | Southern First Bancshares
Chris Zych was appointed chief financial officer of Southern First Bancshares, the holding company for Southern First Bank. Zych has over 30 years of experience in the banking industry and was most recently director of corporate development and investor relations at United Community Bank, where he has worked for the last decade. He started his career at Bank of America, where he was a senior auditor.
