CFO magazine announced the addition of Steve Payne to its editorial advisory board. As a member of the board, Payne will help shape CFO‘s editorial agenda.
Payne is the Americas Practice Leader for Working Capital Advisory Services at Ernst & Young LLP and a member of E&Y’s TAS Operating Committee. He has over 20 years of experience in developing working capital improvement strategies, operations management, and consulting. Prior to joining E&Y, Payne was the president and past CEO of REL, specializing in helping companies improve cash flow from working capital via operational improvement, covering all aspects of operating working capital, inventory, payables and receivables.

In addition to his career at E&Y and REL, Payne held positions at HarperCollins as SVP, operations and supply chain; Oros Instruments as operations director, and ML Aviation as an industrial engineer. He graduated from Thames Valley University in London.
