CFO magazine announced the addition of Kenneth Sanginario to its editorial advisory board. As a member of the board, Sanginario will help shape CFO’s editorial agenda.
Sanginario brings over 25 years of experience in corporate finance, operations, and accounting. In addition, he was CFO of CFO Publishing for three years.
Since 1991, Sanginario has specialized in repositioning companies for success, developing and executing corporate strategies in turnaround and workout environments, raising equity and debt capital, and advising companies in M&A activities. In 1999, Sanginario founded Transitional Strategies, Inc. While at TSI, he led a variety of distressed clients as CEO and CFO on extended interim bases, and managed M&A, private equity, and debt transactions.
In 2009, Sanginario co-founded NorthStar Management Partners. At NorthStar, Sanginario specializes in providing corporate finance, valuation, M&A advisory, and turnaround management services to middle-market companies involved in the manufacturing, distribution, and retail of consumer and industrial products.
“We are delighted that Mr. Sanginario has agreed to join the editorial board,” said Julia Homer, executive vice president and chief content officer of CFO Publishing. “As a former CFO and now consultant to CFOs, he understands the challenges and pressures facing finance executives in many industries. That, coupled with his experience as a former CFO of CFO Publishing, give him special insight into both the information our audience needs, and the best ways to provide that information.”
“It is an honor to be associated with such a world-class organization. CFO Publishing has been at the forefront of providing highly relevant content to CFOs for many years, and I am very excited to begin participating in its editorial direction,” Sanginario said.
Sanginario graduated from Bentley College in Waltham, MA, and holds graduate degrees from both Bentley College and Boston College. He is a CPA, CMAP (Chartered M&A Professional), and CVA (Certified Valuation Analyst). He has authored and contributed to several articles on turnaround management and corporate valuations, and speaks regularly at a variety of national conferences.
CFO’s editorial advisory board comprises notable financial leaders whose experiences reflect the wide range of responsibilities and expertise required of today’s CFOs. Members are chosen for their knowledge, insight, and stature in the corporate finance world.
