CFO Publishing LLC announced the addition of Ellen B. Richstone to its editorial advisory board. As a member of the board, Richstone will help shape CFO’s editorial content across all platforms.
“The depth of Ms. Richstone’s experience makes her a great addition to CFO’s editorial advisory board,” said Julia Homer, executive vice president and chief content officer of CFO Publishing. “Given the increased complexity of the CFO’s world, we need that advice more than ever.”
Richstone brings 30 years of experience to the position, including directorships for multiple companies in the public, private, and non-profit sectors. She is currently serving as chair of ERI’s audit and nominating committees. An expert on SEC issues, Richstone also has served on several audit and compensation committees at both public and private companies including APC (American Power Conversion, an S&P 500 company until its sale to Schneider Electric).
Positions held earlier in her career include president and CEO of the Entrepreneurial Resources Group (ERG) as well as chief financial officer for companies ranging in size from $100 Million to $2.5 billion in revenue. She has extensive international finance experience in Asia and Europe, and has participated in over 35 acquisitions.
Richstone graduated from Scripps College in Claremont California and holds two graduate degrees from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University (International Affairs and International Business Law). She completed the APC degree at New York University’s Graduate School of Business Administration in Finance and attended the executive development program at Cornell University’s Business School.
