Alix Stuart, CFO’s Senior Editor for Small & Midsize Business, won the National Bronze award in the Original Research category for her article “The Perils of Flextime.” In the Regional Northeast sector, Scott Leibs, Editor-in-Chief of CFO magazine, received a Gold award in the Individual Profile category for “Eat My Dust,” a story about the role of Ford Motor Company’s CFO Lewis Booth in the company’s strong performance. David McCann, CFO’s Senior Editor for Human Capital & Careers, won a Gold award in the How-To Article category for “An Action Plan for IT” and Silver in the Case History category for “If You Build It…,” a story on creating data warehouses.

In the design categories, art director Robert Lesser was honored with four National awards; Gold for Front Cover Illustration for “Brighter Days,” Bronze for Opening Page/Spread Illustration for “An Action Plan for IT,” Bronze for Opening Page/Spread Photo for “25 Years of Finance,” and Bronze for Opening Page/Spread Illustration for “The Perils of Flextime.” Lesser also won three Regional Northeast awards; Gold for the Opening Page/Spread Photo for “Working It Out,” Gold for Contents Page or Pages category for the January/February 2010 CFO magazine issue, and Silver in Front Cover Photo for “Eat My Dust.”

CFO magazine was named a top-ten finalist for Magazine of the Year in the category for publications with revenues of $2 million or more.
