Following a sold-out New York conference in January, CFO magazine today announced that a second CFO Corporate Performance Management Conference will be held in Dallas from September 11-13, 2011. The conference will arm senior finance executives with the information they need to upgrade their corporate performance management capabilities, enabling them to deliver more strategic analytical services to decision makers and board members.

Two of the most popular speakers at the New York conference, Thomas Davenport and Wayne Eckerson, will return to deliver additional insights in their fresh and information-packed sessions.
Thomas H. Davenport is President and Distinguished Professor of Information Technology at Babson College and the author of Competing on Analytics and Analytics at Work. As Keynote speaker, he will focus on the CFO as the top analytical decision-maker within the organization; one of the more important roles a senior finance executive takes on. Describing what it means to be an analytical leader, Davenport will give examples of CFOs and other senior executives who play this role. He will identify the mix of art and science that even the most analytical leaders should use in making effective decisions.

Wayne Eckerson is founder and president of the BI Leadership Forum and author of Performance Dashboards: Measuring, Monitoring, and Managing Your Business. Discussing effective business intelligence (BI) programs, he will present a framework for what best-in-class BI programs will look like in the year 2020 and examine strategies for managing top-down and bottom-up approaches in a balanced manner.

“For senior finance executives looking to move up the CPM maturity curve, this is the conference to attend,” said Julia Homer, EVP and chief content officer of CFO Publishing. “The conference is presented by CFO magazine and will provide the timely and trusted information readers and delegates expect.”

Other featured speakers include Eric Lundberg, SVP & CFO of ALM; Steve Player, North America program director of the Beyond Budgeting Roundtable; Robin Washington, SVP & CFO of Gildead Sciences Inc.; and Christina Spade, SVP of Affiliate Finance and Business Operations at Showtime Networks.

Conference attendees at the 2011 CFO Corporate Performance Management Conference in Dallas will take away information that will help them take their corporate performance management to the next level. The conference features a variety of workshops, panel discussions, master classes, and networking opportunities.
