Federal Realty Investment Trust has named James Taylor to lead the finance function, effective August 15. He replaces Andrew Blocher, who is expected to stay on at the trust through next February. Previously, Taylor was senior managing director and head of real estate investment banking at Eastdil Secured Wells Fargo.
Nicholas Hotchkin is the new finance chief at Weight Watchers International Inc. He succeeds Ann Sardini, who retired last month. Hotchkin is a former senior vice president of finance for Staples Inc.’s U.S. retail division.
Movie and original programming provider Starz LLC has promoted Scott Macdonald to lead the finance function. He had been treasurer and executive vice president, finance and accounting.
Atlantic Power Corp. has named Terrence Ronan executive vice president – CFO, effective August 20. He replaces Lisa Donahue, who has been interim CFO since last July. Ronan joins the company from Plains All American Pipeline LP, where he was managing director-finance and assistant treasurer.
Adir Katzav has been promoted to the top finance spot at Eagle Bulk Shipping Inc. Previously, Katzav, who takes over from Alan Ginsberg, had been director of financial reporting.
Colin Stevenson has been named executive vice president – CFO of Darling International Inc., effective September 1. Stevenson, a partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, most recently was leader of that firm’s Dallas Financial Services Tax Group.
GlobalScape Inc. has appointed James Albrecht to the top finance spot. He succeeds Desiree Smith, who has been interim CFO since February and will continue in her position as corporate controller. Albrecht joins the software company from Express Digital Graphics Inc., where he was CEO and CFO.
Charles Mueller Jr. has been promoted from finance chief to president of Archstone. Mueller, who will retain the title of chief operating officer, will be replaced as CFO by R. Webster Neighbor, previously a senior vice president at Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc.
CFO Mark Etnyre has resigned from children’s educational-entertainment provider LeapFrog Enterprises Inc., effective October 1, to pursue other interests and spend more time with his family.
HeartWare International Inc., which manufactures and develops miniaturized implantable heart pumps, has named Peter McAree CFO and treasurer. He is a former CFO of Caliper Life Sciences Inc.
