CFOs on the Move: Week Ending December 23

Michael Cazer is the new finance chief at Alticor, parent company of Amway. He is a former president of the European division of Brink’s Co., and a former CFO of GE Security as well as GE Consumer and Industrial Europe at General Electric.

Retailer Harry & David has named Michael Schwindle to lead the finance function, taking over from interim CFO Pat Kosturos. Most recently, Schwindle headed finance at Empire Today.

Shum Mukherjee, CFO of Immersion Corp., will leave the company at the end of the year. Victor Viegas, CEO of the touch-feedback technology developer, will serve as interim CFO until a permanent replacement for Mukherjee is found.

Pharmaceutical firm Depomed Inc. has named August Moretti to the top finance spot. Previously, he was CFO, general counsel, and secretary at Alexza Pharmaceuticals Inc.

Stephen Fenstermacher has resigned as CFO and co-CEO of Mannatech Inc. He will be replaced as CFO by S. Mark Nicholls, vice president treasury & tax.

Long-term care services provider Advocat Inc. has announced that finance chief Glynn Riddle plans to resign, effective March 31. The company expects newly hired executive vice president Sam Daniel to take over from Riddle as of April 1.

Infinite Z Inc., a provider of digital design technology, has named Joseph Powers to lead the finance function. He is a former CFO of Virident Systems and WorkRite Ergonomics, among other companies.

Michael Burke will become head of finance at Landauer Inc., effective January 3, succeeding interim CFO Michael Leatherman. Burke joins the manufacturer of radiation-detection monitors from Albany International Corp., where he also served as CFO.
