Timothy McLevish, who heads finance at Kraft Foods Inc., plans to leave the firm in the middle of the year. Executive vice president, operations, David Brearton will take over as CFO after the company’s financial statements for the first quarter are filed.
3M has announced that David Meline has been promoted to the posts of CFO and senior vice president, finance, effective April 1. He replaces CFO Patrick Campbell, who will retire on May 1. Meline, who is currently corporate controller and chief accounting officer, joined the company in 2008.
Rick Baran has been promoted to lead the finance function at Clear Channel Radio. Baran has been at the firm since last year, and had been senior vice president of finance operations.
Brian Schell is the new CFO at BATS Global Markets Inc. He succeeds Craig Perrigo, who is now chief accounting officer. Schell comes to the company from Pollen Inc., where he also was CFO; before that, he spent 16 years at H&R Block Inc. in a variety of roles.
Restaurant owner and operator Fireman Hospitality Group has appointed Steve Weissman to head finance. Most recently, he was CFO of B.R. Guest Restaurants.
Solar Universe has named Steven Yeffa to the top finance spot. He joins the solar-installation and finance firm from Cartridge World, where he also was CFO and then president of the Americas region.
Clifford Pietrafitta will become finance chief at Xerium Technologies Inc., a manufacturer of rolls and textiles used in making paper. He takes over the top finance spot from Brian Fox, who has been interim CFO and chief accounting officer since August, and who is leaving those posts. Previously, Pietrafitta was CFO of CSS Industries Inc.
Outpatient rehabilitation-service provider Physiotherapy Associates has appointed Andrew DeVoe to lead the finance function. DeVoe is a former president and CEO of Apollo Health Street, as well as a former CFO of the University of Pennsylvania Health System.
NVIDIA Corp. has announced that CFO David White has resigned, but will stay at the firm through May 31. Karen Burns, corporate controller at the semiconductor company, has been named interim CFO until a permanent replacement for White is found.
