Leonard Rush will retire as CFO of financial-services firm Robert W. Baird & Co. on March 31. He will be succeeded by Dominick Zarcone, who has been a managing director in the company’s investment-banking group since 1995 and chief operating officer for investment banking since 2004.
Bob Evans Farms Inc. has appointed Paul DeSantis finance chief, treasurer, and assistant corporate secretary, effective March 7. He joins the restaurant owner and operator from A. Schulman Inc., where he was CFO, treasurer, and assistant secretary. Richard Green, who has been interim CFO since last month, will remain chief risk and compliance officer.
Communications and engagement-marketing agency TBA Global has named Joseph Lugo to lead the finance function. Most recently, he was CFO of Interbrand; before that, he worked at Saatchi & Saatchi Worldwide, where he was vice president of finance in Europe.
Sunrise Senior Living Inc. chief accounting officer C. Marc Richards will also become head of finance, as the company has decided to combine the two posts. He will replace current CFO Julie Pangelinan, who will leave the company on or before March 11.

Financial-services firm Merriman Holdings Inc. has named Jack Thrift CFO of the holding company and of broker-dealer Merriman Capital Inc. He takes over from Peter Coleman, who will become a consultant to the company. Thrift is a former partner and managing director of operations at White Oak Global Advisors, and prior to that role served as chief operating officer of Merriman Asset Management.
