John Pietrowicz has been promoted to managing director and deputy CFO at derivatives exchange CME Group. Pietrowicz, who has been with the company since 2003, is a former CFO at electronic commodities exchange The Merchants’ Exchange.
Aurora, Illinois-based holding company Westell Technologies Inc. has appointed BrianCooper as CFO. He replaces Amy Forster, who will be the new chief accounting officer. Cooper is a former CFO and treasurer of Fellowes Inc., an office products and solutions marketer and manufacturer.
Kenneth Tarpey is the new CFO of comScore Inc., a source of digital marketing intelligence. Tarpey takes over from John Green, who will become executive vice president and head of human capital. Prior to joining comScore, Tarpey was CFO of ObjectVideo Inc., a video-surveillance software provider.
CVR Energy Inc. has named Edward Morgan CFO, effective in May. He succeeds Tim Rens, who had announced his resignation earlier in the year. Previously, Morgan was CFO at Delek U.S. Holdings Inc., based in Brentwood, Tennessee.
Jonathan Kennedy has been named SVP and CFO of Intersil Corp., a designer and manufacturer of analog and mixed-signal semiconductors. Kennedy, who has been interim CFO since December 2008, joined the company as director of finance in 2004 and has served as corporate controller since 2005.
BioEnergy International, a developer of biorefineries, has appointed Chris Tewell as CFO. He is a former executive at Plainfield Asset Management and at GE Capital, where he served as acting president of GE Capital Asia Pacific.
