Insurance claims processing software provider Solera Holdings has named Dudley Mendenhall as its CFO. Mendenhall most recently headed finance for Websense, Inc. At Solera he replaces Jack Pearlstein, who will remain in a consulting role through the current fiscal year.
Meanwhile, Websense, a Web gateway and data-loss-prevention company, announced that Dough Wride has temporarily reassumed the CFO position. Wride, who previously ran finance for the company from 1999 to 2007, will continue to serve as chief operating officer while the company searches for a new CFO.
Sandra Cochran will become CFO of the Cracker Barrel Old Country Store on April 6. Cochran has been both CEO and finance chief of the retailer Books-A-Million and vice president of corporate finance at SunTrust Securities.
Michael Baker Corporation has appointed Michael Zugay as its CFO, replacing Craig Stuve,r who has been serving as interim head of finance since late 2007. Zugay comes to the engineering and operations service provider from iGate Corporation.
Thomas O’Flynn is leaving his position as CFO of Public Service Enterprise Group to pursue new challenges. His replacement is Caroline Dorsa, a director of PSEG and, since last year, senior vice president of human health, strategy and integration at Merck & Co.
Petroleum & Resources CFO and treasurer Maureen Jones will retire at the end of May. Jones has been working for the closed-end investment company since 1991 and has served as CFO since 2002.
James Woodward Jr. has been appointed interim CFO of the diversified manufacturer Accuride Corporation. Woodward’s most recent position was CFO of JLG Global and also has headed finance and treasury for Joy Global. He replaces David Armstrong, who announced earlier this month that he would leave to take an assignment with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
FICO has named Thomas Bradley CFO to replace the retiring Charles Osborne. Bradley has been finance chief for North American at Zurich Financial Services since 2004.
Thomas Wilkas has been hired as Borland Software Corporation’s CFO. He replaces Erik Prusch, who will continue in his roles as acting president and CEO. Wilkas most recently was senior vice president and CFO of PSAV Presentation Services.
LifePoint Hospitals has hired Jeffrey Sherman as CFO, replacing David Dill, who was promoted to chief operating officer. Sherman moves over from Tenet Healthcare, where he was treasurer.
Edgar Geiser, CFO of the world’s largest watchmaker, Swatch Group, announced he will step down for personal reasons after 18 years in the chair. Thierry Kenel, currently CFO of the group’s Breguet brand, will replace Geiser.
