Oracle Corp. named Harry L. You as executive vice president and chief financial officer, replacing Jeff Henley.

When Henley was elected chairman of Oracle’s board in January 2004 — replacing chief executive officer Larry Ellison, who retained the CEO title — he announced that after 13 years Oracle’s finance chief, he would step down.

You, who will report to Ellison, had been CFO of Accenture since June 2001. He was responsible for all financial operations and for helping lead the management consulting, technology services, and outsourcing firm through its transition as a new public company.

Early in his career, You served as advisor to the board of directors at Lucky-Goldstar International in Seoul, Korea; as economist and assistant to the director at the International Monetary Fund; and as a Federal Reserve liaison for the U.S. Department of the Treasury.

Prior to joining Accenture, You was managing director in charge of the computer and business services group at Morgan Stanley, where he led a global team that guided professional firms from partnership structure to public ownership.
