CFOs on the Move

  • Jeffrey Rohr was named CFO of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu and its U.S. member firm, Deloitte & Touche LLP. He has served as regional managing partner of the U.S. firm’s Midwest practice in Chicago since 1995. As CFO, Rohr will join the firm’s U.S. operating and executive committees and its global management committee, which are responsible for setting and reviewing important strategic objectives and executing the financial plan. Rohr succeeds Bill Fowler, who is retiring after 38 years with Deloitte, the last nine as finance chief.
  • Baxter International Inc. picked John Greisch as CFO and senior vice president. He succeeds Brian Anderson, who is leaving the company. Greisch was previously corporate vice president and president of Baxter’s BioScience business.
  • Dominion Homes Inc. tapped Terrence Thomas as CFO and senior vice president. He will supervise financial reporting and management of the accounting staff, as well as investor and banker relations. Thomas has worked for Pulte Homes in various capacities for the past 14 years. Most recently, he was area vice president of finance and asset management for Dominion’s southeast region. Prior to that, Thomas held both operational and finance posts within the organization.
  • Peter Voser will join Royal Dutch/Shell, the embattled energy giant, as CFO on Oct. 4. He has been CFO of ABB. Before that, he was business-unit CFO and group chief internal auditor for Shell London.
  • UK-based BSkyB named Jeremy as CFO. Darroch is leaving his slot as Dixons’ group finance director. Darroch replaces Martin Stewart, who will continue in the position until August 4.
  • Michael Russell assumes the CFO post at American Technology Corp., a marketer and distributor of sound-reproduction technologies and products. Carl Gruenler, who was serving as interim finance chief, was named vice president of ATC’s Government and Force Protection Group. Russell has over 20 years experience as a senior financial executive.
  • Scott Kingsley is the new CFO of Community Bank System. Since 1997, Kingsley had been serving as CFO and vice president of Carlisle Engineered Products, a subsidiary of Carlisle Companies, Inc. He launched his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he advanced to senior audit manager during his eight-year tenure. In 1994, he joined Carlisle Cos. as corporate controller, assistant treasurer, and vice president. He was named finance chief of Carlisle Engineered Products in 1997.
