- Hot Off the Press: Lee Enterprises Inc., a Davenport, Iowa- based newspaper publisher, named Carl G. Schmidt VP, CFO and treasurer. Schmidt had previously been SVP and CFO of Johnson Outdoors Inc., an outdoor equipment maker in Racine, Wisconsin.
- American Plumbing & Mechanical Inc. promoted SVP and CFO David C. Baggett to the position of president. Baggett has been CFO of the Round Rock, Tex.-based residential plumbing and heating company since 1998 and will continue in the role.
- All the Details: Remec Inc., a San Diego-based designer and manufacturer of high frequency subsystems, announced that David L. Morash has been appointed EVP and CFO. Morash was previously CFO of Wireless Knowledge, a Qualcomm and Microsoft company. Morash replaces Michael D. McDonald, who has resigned to pursue other opportunities.
- Leave a Message: DTVN Holdings Inc., a Richardson, Tex.- based wholesale provider of voice and data services, announced that CFO Marcia C. Kennedy resigned. The company expects to name a successor soon.
- And the Winner Is: Docucorp International Inc., a provider of information software and consulting services, announced that John H. Gray has joined the Dallas-based company as CFO. Prior to Docucorp, Gray was CFO of Dallas-based Fresh America Corp.
