: It’s really the end for Land’s End Inc. executive VP and CFO Stephen “Chip” Orum, who will retire in early spring. Orum made $375,000 last year and exercised $1.5 million in options. The Dodgeville, Wis.-based Internet and catalogue retailer has not named Orum’s successor, but it did appoint Jeffrey Jones to the new position of COO. Jones was previously with ShopKo Stores Inc., where he held both COO and CFO. At ShopKo, Jones was succeeded by Paul Freischlag. ShopKo is now on its third CFO (Brian Bender) in a year.
- Betsy Rafael has had her last supper as SVP and CFO of Silicon Graphics Inc. Effective immediately, she is the the executive VP and CFO of San Jose, Calif.-based Aspect Communications Corp., which makes customer relationship management portals.
- The Missing Link: Lake Forest, Calif.-based FutureLink Corp.‘s Richard M. White was promoted from SVP of corporate finance to executive VP and CFO. He succeeds Raghu Kilambi, who left the application service provider for personal reasons. Kilambi made $237,000 last year.
- You Go, Boys! Mobile technology retailer iGo Corp. named Richard Shaff to the top finance post. Shaff, who was executive VP and acting CFO of Sierra Design Group, succeeds Mick Delargy, who is now COO.
- Maverick Tube Corp.‘s Barry R. Pearl is moving apart from the herd. He resigned as VP of finance and CFO of the St. Louis-based tubing maker. Corporate controller Pam Boone will step in as acting CFO. Pearl made $290,290 last year including bonuses.
