Yelp has appointed Charles (Lanny) Baker to the top finance spot, effective May 9. Previously president and CEO of ZipRealty, he’s also a former CFO of that company, as well as of Monster Worldwide.
Gunther Plosch will join The Wendy’s Co. on May 2 and will become head of finance after a transitional period. He takes over for Todd Penegor, who is expected to become CEO upon the retirement of Emil Brolick at the end of May. Most recently, Plosch was vice president of global business services at Kellogg.
Xcel Energy has selected Robert Frenzel as its next finance chief, effective May 3. He succeeds Teresa Madden, who had earlier announced that she would retire. Previously, Frenzel held the top finance spot at electricity generator Luminant.
Sarah Broderick has been chosen as the first CFO at Vice Media. Most recently, she was chief accounting officer and global controller at WME/IMG.
Innophos Holdings, which produces nutritional ingredients, has named Han Kieftenbeld to lead the finance function. He takes over for interim CFO Mark Feuerbach, who will return to his role as vice president of investor relations, treasury, financial planning, and analysis. Formerly, Kieftenbeld was global CFO at AB Mauri in the United Kingdom.
Automotive supplier Chassix has appointed Michael Beyer finance chief. He joins the firm from Wolverine Advanced Materials, where he also headed finance.
Brian Ketcham has been selected to lead the finance function at irrigation-systems provider Lindsay Corp. He replaces Jim Raabe, who will stay on in other roles until he retires in December. Previously, Ketcham was vice president and group controller of the engineered support structures division at Valmont Industries.
Fuad Ahmad has been named to fill the top finance spot at Quantum Corp. Most recently, he was a partner at consultancy FLG Partners.
Pacira Pharmaceuticals has named Charles Reinhart III to lead the finance function, effective May 3. He takes over for Jim Scibetta, who is now president. Reinhart formerly headed finance at Covis Pharmaceuticals, Archimedes Pharma, and PharmAthene.
Real estate investment trust Acadia Realty Trust has chosen John Gottfried as its next finance chief, effective June 27. He replaces Jon Grisham, who is retiring. Gottfried now heads the New York Metro real estate assurance practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
