James Young has been selected to lead the finance function at Broadridge Financial Solutions, effective June 23. He takes over from Dan Sheldon, who headed finance from 2007 until he left the firm in April. Young has been at Visa since 2006, most recently as senior vice president, finance.

IT research and advisory firm Gartner has announced that finance chief Chris Lafond will resign at the end of June. Lafond, CFO since 2003, will be replaced by Craig Safian, group vice president of global finance.

Kellie Goldstein has been named to head finance at Travel Channel. Previously, she worked at Thomson Reuters, where she was CFO of the Middle East, Africa and Russia areas of the company’s global growth division.

99 Cents Only Stores has named Christopher Laurence interim CFO, treasurer and secretary, succeeding Frank Schools, who has resigned. Most recently, Laurence was CEO at ThreeSixty Group.

Stuart Becker has resigned from the top finance spot at Summit Hotel Properties. Paul Ruiz, chief accounting officer, has been appointed interim CFO.

Lantheus Medical Imaging has named John Bakewell finance chief, succeeding John Golubieski. Bakewell joins the firm from Interline Brands, where he headed finance.

OCI Resources has selected Kevin Kremke to lead the finance function. He takes over from Choungho Kim, who will become CFO of OCI Energy. Formerly, Kremke was vice president, finance and strategic planning, at Cheniere Energy.

CFO James Fickenscher is leaving Auxilium Pharmaceuticals, effective Aug. 15. The company has started a search for his replacement.

Restaurant owner, operator and franchiser Famous Dave’s of America, has named Richard Pawlowski to the top finance spot, succeeding Diana Purcel. He joins the firm from Capital C Holdings, where he was a co-founder and CEO.

Dallas Lucas has been chosen finance chief at Tier REIT. Formerly, he headed finance at Intrawest ULC.
