- Abstract:
- Group moves are not the same as individual relocations, and due to the numbers of employees they frequently involve, they carry a higher risk factor and need to be planned for differently. Group moves have retention strategies, production goals and, often, tight timeframes that need to be met. There are usually fewer opportunities to communicate, and the employees involved have more difficult decisions to make. Failure to plan and orchestrate a group move properly can jeopardize company goals, but there are tried and true ways that can make any group move a success. It requires developing a project plan, following a clear process, and executing on its deliverables. Let’s see what goes into a group move plan and how you can make your next group move successful.
