- Abstract:
- In 2008, 3.1% of active participants in Vanguard defined contribution plans stopped making contributionsıup by 0.7% from the prior year. In any given year a small percentage of active participants stops making plan contributions; the economic and market downturn in 2008 appears to have raised that rate slightly.
