Abstract:

The findings of this study conducted by CFO Research Services for ACCA, the global body for professional accountants, indicate broad support for global standards. The majority of the chief financial officers, financial controllers, chief accountants and other executives surveyed in Asia, Europe and the United States say that, on balance, adopting global financial standards and guidelines for sustainability reporting is good, or will be good, for their company.

Although, the fieldwork was completed in June 2008, these findings are still relevant today.
