In this report created by PayStream Advisors, the survey results reveal that more than one-third of companies are unable to capture most discounts offered by suppliers.
You will learn:
* Importance of discount capture: Almost half (46 percent) of the organizations that participated in the survey identified capturing early payment discounts as a priority.
* Ability to capture discounts: Even though discount capture is a priority, companies are unable to capture all discounts offered by suppliers. More than one-third (36 percent) of survey participants indicated that they are missing more than 10 percent of supplier early payment discounts.
* The top reason for late payments leading to missed discounts at organizations, by a wide margin, is internal approval delays.
