- Abstract:
- In March 2002, CFO Research Services and Schering-Plough conducted a research program to understand how financial executives view the value of health care and what approaches they take to managing it. In this report, we explore CFO attitudes about three major areas: the importance of controlling health care spending; the links between health care spending, employee productivity, and financial results; and the strategies companies are pursuing to manage health care benefits.
