- At first glance, it would seem that in 2006, Europe’s top 1,000 companies posted great gains in almost every key metric associated with cash. Sales increased, which led to the generation of increased cash flow from operations (operating cash flow). However, data from the 2007 REL/CFO Europe Cash Masters Analysis revealed that Europe’s top 1,000 companies did not take full advantage of those increased sales to generate more cash.
