- At the heart of today’s corporate revenue recognition compliance activities will soon be The Sarbanes-Oxley Act’s Section 404, “Documenting and Evaluating Controls over Financial Reporting”. And technology firms, by virtue of their business models, will arguably be the most challenged by melding their revenue recognition practices with upcoming, even more demanding corporate governance surrounding financial controls.
