This beginner's guide to overcoming Excel frustrations is specially-priced for the spreadsheet novice. Based on the popular Don't Fear the Spreadsheet book, the course is focused on the true Excel novice, covering what instructor Bill "MrExcel" Jelen calls extreme basics of using Excel.
Instead of delving into advanced topics that scare away most spreadsheet novices, the course covers several key topics, including Excel basics, formatting, formulas, charts, and even simple data analysis. The course, designed for the 40 percent of Excel users who have never entered a formula, aims to demystify the problems and confusion that prevent employees throughout your company from using Excel to its full potential.
This Webcast will cover:
- Opening Excel, learning the lingo, and how to navigate around a spreadsheet;
- Building simple worksheets using Excel formatting;
- Making data fit using Wrap text and Center across Selection;
- Entering your first formula in Excel; and
- Creating charts and adding subtotals.
