In this third research brief from a series of eight, prepared in collaboration with KPMG, CFO Research continues to explore the ways CFOs at large U.S. companies plan to use technology to support their strategic initiatives. From a survey of more than 350 finance executives, we found that nearly two-thirds say that the financial and performance information they use for decision making is not as useful as it needs to be. As one CFO we interviewed commented, "We need to empower our leaders to be able to access data as they need it, from their current point of contact." This brief offers examples of how some companies are achieving that goal.
