Sam Knox is the vice president and research director at CFO Research Services, a unit of CFO Publishing LLC, which publishes CFO magazine. As the general manager of the research group, he is responsible for business development and oversight of the operations of CFO Publishing's research business. He has designed and conducted research studies on corporate finance, performance management, information technology, and strategic decision making.

Prior to joining CFO Research, Sam worked as a researcher, writer, and product manager for business information publishers, software companies, and professional services firms. He is the former director of research at Harbor Research and senior editor at Mercer Management Consulting. He was a lead editor on the Yale Journal on Regulation. Sam has an M.B.A. from the Yale School of Management and works out of CFO's offices in Boston.

Celina Rogers is editorial director of research at CFO Research Services and manages CFO's team of researchers, analysts, writers, and editors. She researches and writes on a variety of topics in corporate finance, including performance management, information technology, regulation, corporate governance, and strategic decision making.

Prior to joining CFO Research, Celina served as an associate at Ropes & Gray, a leading national law firm, and as managing editor on the Boston College Law Review. She is a graduate of Boston College Law School and Harvard University. Celina is based in Boston.

David W. Owens is director of research at CFO Research Services. He researches and writes on a wide range of topics in corporate finance, including shareholder value, risk management, performance management, organization structure, information technology, and financial and corporate strategy.

David has 25 years of experience as a researcher, editor, and writer on business, financial, and management topics. He was a key member of the writing and content development team at Mercer Management Consulting (now known as Oliver Wyman) for 18 years and led the writing and editing department for 13 years. He is a graduate of Haverford College. David is based in Boston.

Josh Hyatt is associate director of research at CFO Research Services. He conducts research studies on a broad array of topics of interest to senior finance executives, including working capital and supply chain management, information technology, and financial and corporate strategy.

Prior to joining CFO Research, Josh was a contributing editor and writer for Fortune magazine, MIT's Sloan Management Review, Money magazine and CFO magazine. His work has also appeared in Newsweek and continues to appear in Money, where he writes a monthly column. He was previously executive editor of Fortune Small Business, and was an editorial staffer at Inc. magazine and The Boston Globe. A graduate of Oberlin College, Josh is based in CFO's Boston office.

Mary Beth Findlay is associate director of research at CFO Research Services. She conducts research studies on a panorama of finance topics, including banking and capital markets, business performance management, the use of financial and operating data, and professional development.

Prior to joining CFO Research, Mary Beth served as a research associate at Harvard Business School, writing case studies and background notes for second-year MBA courses. She is a graduate of the Boston University School of Law, and she earned a bachelor's degree in communication from Boston College (Phi Beta Kappa and magna cum laude). Mary Beth works out of CFO's Boston office.

Linda Klockner is the Research Operations Manager at CFO Research Services. She is responsible for the business processes that inform CFO's research programs. She executes quantitative research programs in collaboration with research directors, manages the group's production calendar, develops and maintains the database of CFO Research's survey participants as well as their online community, and executes post-publication activities.

Linda's experience includes more than 20 years in market research and marketing for SAIL magazine and two years with marketing and publishing services firm The Pohly Company. As part of the marketing/media sales team at The Pohly Company, she worked on Continental magazine, ANA Magazine, (Association of National Advertisers), and American Business Media accounts, among others. Linda is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire and holds a master's in mass communications from Boston University. She works in CFO's Boston office.
